Takes a bit to figure out, but it is very accurate and my husband is happy with it! Hopefully it lasts a long time!
Bought for an amateur theatre group that's busy building sets for about 10 months of the year, so these are going to get a lot of use. We needed something that will last and these look like they will fit the bill. Nicely made. I think the fact that the manufacturer puts a serial number on each one so you can register them shows that they believe in their product.
The build quality is really good, offering durability that instills confidence in its longevity.
It also provides accurate measurements: whether utilizing the laser distance meter for longer ranges or the AutoLock measuring tape for closer applications, the results are consistently good. The backlit LCD screen enhances visibility in various lighting conditions, making it easy to read measurements with precision. Overall it is very easy to use.
It was a pleasant surprise to find the inclusion of the batteries and a convenient screwdriver for the battery compartment. A thoughtful touch that saves time. The instructions are also clear and easy to understand.
The width of the tape is a bit narrow. Making it flex a bit too much over longe distances, but the laser makes of that. It is also a bit pricey compared to cheaper options you can get, but the features, the relative ease of use and the build quality makes up for the price.

Was trying to help my uncle build a shed. Wasn’t taught how to read a tape measure in school. So in giving my uncle measurements he’d shake his head when I’d say 1/4 plus 1. Found this on Amazon and it now makes me atleast sound like I know what I’m doing. lol.
